Failte Gardens : Garden, Studio, Workshop and Plant Rescue

Failte Gardens is where I try out different landscape designs for Alba Landscapes; it’s a space for experimentation, trying new plants in new combos – and – for rescuing abandoned plants from clearance racks in the big box stores. I was told that once plants are put on the clearance racks- “They just give up completely” and immediately start to go down hill. I rescued this little rascal and friends from the clearance racks – and now they make a dazzling ground cover for one of the borders in Failte Gardens

gazania
Gazania- flowering annual from South Africa with stunning colors and patterns on their petals. They have attractive textured leaves and can withstand drought conditions.

If only I had found more of them!
