One tough ‘Little imp’

Winter is almost here.. and  abutilon ‘Little imp’ Abutilon megapotamicum (zone 7b and zone 8) is  hanging in there and in bud, ready to flower. Last year, as ‘Little imp’ is a tender perennial, it overwintered inside the house. This year, I took cuttings and have left the plant outside in a planter, heavily mulched. It has definitely not been a heavy flowering plant- so I may move it into more sunshine and see if this helps. abutilon little imp
